Vegetarian Recipes?
Becoming vegetarian and need some good recipes to cook at home. I am only 14, so keep that in mind.
Answers:
I'm also 14 and a vegetarian. I've found that it's much easier to make vegetarian food look and taste like you slaved over it, than meat ever was for me (not that I ever cooked before I was a vegetarian). Just experiment. If you want to make some herb bread just put some hamburger buns in the toaster. When it pops put some soy butter and herbs on and you're done. Fry crumbled soy burgers, mushrooms, and tofu in oil or soy sauce and mix in some rice. Serve it with the buns and some veggies, etc. I eat waaayyyy more variety than I ever did as an omni, and it's fun learning to cook the hard way.

"The Teen's Vegetarian Cookbook" by Judy Krizmanic (paperback). This is a great cookbook geared specifically for your age group, it's available for purchase at Amazon.com or Barnes and Noble might have some copies available at their stores.
Since you are only 14, you might want to speak with your doctor about how to be a vegetarian safely.
What we do is to cook what we like and replace the meat with tofu, tempeh, beans, nuts, eggs or cheese. So, for chili we would use tofu crumbles, for spaghetti - the same thing. For stir fried veggies, we cut up tempeh and toss that in. We also do a lot of rice and beans with cheese and taco seasoning.
You might want to speak with your local health food store to help get you started.
There are also a lot of easy things to make that you can also get at the health food store - boca burgers, instant meals that you just pop in the microwave, tofu crumbles that you can use like you would ground beef.
The thing to be careful of is that you don't just eliminate meat and only eat, for example, french fries, cookies, chips, etc. When you go vegetarian it's important to do it healthfully.
