me and me and me and morticia and lily blu and peppydoll.....

No. There's just something wrong with working for KFC in general.

yes!
you are contradicting yourself and selling what you go against to people... you are surrounded by dead animals and you think there is nothing wrong with that? it is plain wrong!

Not if you need the job.

Also, it would depend on your reasons for being a vegetarian. If you are non meat-eating you oppose killing animals, you need to search your own heart about how you feel about serving chickens.

However, I'll go back to my original statement - if you need a job, and you have one, then good for you! Everyone is not so lucky...

No. Why???? You could be working in a slaughterhouse. The term refers to your diet choices, not your employment choices.
Of course, working in a slaughterhouse might turn you into a vegetarian!

Nope. Even vegetarians need to make money. I can think of other less unscrupulous places to work, but if you are ok with it, then who are we to tell you it's wrong?

No. I am vegetarian and I would work at KFC if I had to pay bills and couldnt get another job. But it would depend on why you are vegetarian. I am vegetarian b/c I dont like meat. If you are vegetarian b/c of animial cruelty reasons then yes some people would find it strange you work at KFC. If it bothers you then try getting a job at a vegan resturant or health food store or supermarket.

Its OK, chickens are vegetarians also.

i guess it depends on your reason for being a vegetarian in the first place.

if you are against animal slaughter for food, then yeah, you shouldn't be working somewhere that gets all of their buisness from what you think is wrong. you should stand up for yourself, and start by not representing them.

if you are a vegetarian for dietary reasons, or simply because you don't like meat, then that's different. it's okay to work at kfc if you don't have a problem with animal slaughter for food.

No. As a matter of fact, sink your face right into the frying grease. Nothing wrong with that, either!

As long as your not eating the meat I see no problem..though maybe your feeling a bit like a hypocrite..guilty. Follow your conscience and self control.

Yes there is problem you are going against yourself why would you even touch animal and give it to somebody to eat think about you like animals and you yourself giving poeple to eat that and you think that is wrong .

No! It's a job.

Maybe they can convert you.

I have a very active friend in church that is a liquor salesman. And another is a drug store owner that sells condoms.

hey everybody needs a job.

Yes, it supports a none Vegetarian life style!

valid points, but the question may be changed to, im a vegan working at kfc, when bird flu hits will anyone be eating here?

Way back in the dim times of my pre-history when I was in college I spent a few months as asst. manager of one of my uncles burger joints. I quit when a friend said "A vegetarian running a burger joint is like a nun running a whorehouse". I quit that day as his statement just made too much sense. I can tell you that within a month of quitting I got rid of the only acne I've ever had in my life and a general malaise that I attributed to school, work and parties vanished (I almost immediately started a new job at a furniture store).

In any event it's you're choice!
