-Silksoy Milk is the best
-Tofu is very healthy
-Get a Jack Lalaine Juicer and juice those carrots. High in vitamin A and a great pick me up. Also read for other recipes to make thats vegan.
-Eat unsalted peanuts. Sprinkle hot sauce on them.
-Stack a bunch of bananas for your lunch. Your body needs potassium.
-Get accustomed to eating vegetarian sushi, steer clear if any of the sushi contains cream cheese.
-Cheese should be made of soy, it's easier for your digestive tract.
-Detox yourself first and get an enema to clear out your system.
-Drink adequate amounts of filtered water to stay hydrated.
-Stay away from caffeine, it's bad for your heart.
-Freeze blueberries and grapes in the freezer and much on them like popsicles.
-Eat watermelon, lots of watermelon, and store up on your fruits and favorite organic veggies.

Look on the http://www.yelp.com website for vegan restaurants in your area and remember that honey and milk chocolate are not vegan.

Oh I thought Vegan was some sort of new religion.

The Accidental Vegan cookbook. Learn to make seitan, especially BBQ'd.

what the heck is a vegan?

It's not about brands of foods.

The more you go with whole foods, the more you cook for yourself or stick with basic stuff, the better off you'll be.

I don't remember the names of the authors, but look for the books listed below.

Great choice, BTW, Congratulations.

Got to www.PETA.org and read more about it. You'll find that it's possibly the best life decision one could make.
