If i am a vegetarian can i eat McDonald's?!

Question:

If i am a vegetarian can i eat McDonald's?

i heard that the meats and chickens at mcdonalds are all powder.......

Answers:
No one should eat at McDonalds, regardless of diet.

Get a vege burger from Burger King instead. It is made from soy.

NO. And I heard that their fries have beef fat in em.

Of course you can! They have salads.

That is correct.

i wouldn't, and that's really gross to know lol... i would try eating somewhere else, McDonald's might have thrown a couple of other mysteries ingredients along with that powder

You can eat at Mc Donalds like their salads. It is true their burger and meats are powder but they fry them in animal fat which is sorta meat.

If you are a vegetarian, you can eat at McDonalds, but it won't be vegetarian food. There are fast food places that serve the VegeBurger which looks and even tastes like hamburger, and that would be ok for a vegetarian.

yea there are salads

Nope, the meat is real meat. The fries are not fried in animal fats, though, so you can eat them. And the fruit, and the salads.

yeah, but you should get a salad or parfait or something. It's still meat, it's just processed beyond belief

I don't think the meats are made of powder. You could always eat a salad.

no

If your not sure then dont risk it. Dont go.

If you really care about the well being of animals then NO. McDonalds also used to add meat extracts to their fries which is controversial amongst vegetarians, im not sure if they do it now but they used to and you cant be too sure.

sure, fire away with a nice juicy big mac

i dont think there is a such thing as a burger made of all powder and dont think that anything like that exists. Vegetarians could only each french fries, salads, and things of that nature out of any fast food restaurant. I also know that a lot of vegetarians become vegetarians because it is healthier but there is nothing healthy about McDonald's except the salad. My suggestion would be to pass on the McDonald's.

I'm don't think there powder because we saw this movie in my health class called super size me and they showed how they make McDonald's they use animals that are sick but McDonald's has salads yogurt parfaits and other stuff with no meat

You can eat at mcdonalds if you are willing to just have drinks (and ice cream if you're not vegan and it doesn't have gelatin). The meat is meat, not powder. The french fries are made in beef fat so don't eat them.

well i dont know about the powder thing...but there are always the salads(which you can get wo/ the chicken) and there are the fruit parfaits and such. Plus there is the pies which are delicious. So i would say that you could still eat at mcdonalds....if you're not sure just ask the next time you go in. Say "im a vegetarian and i was wondering if your fries are fried in animal fat" or whatever you wanna say. It never hurts to ask!

no. if you're one of those vegetarians that is on a diet etc. then eating at mcdonalds is just plain cheating.

if u want vegetarian mcdonalds go to india the mcdonalds there is much better than here in the US

they put meat powder on the french fries.
and they tend to have meat on EVERYTHING.
and they are just bad.

You can eat there. Just dont eat the meat. There is no beef fat in the fries, The french fries are potatoes. Im from Idaho, and I know that the potatoes are pure and natural. they dont add anything to them. AND no the meat isnt made from powder either.

the meat in mc donalds is like 70% meat but their still meat! gosh you cant eat it!!! "its all powder" is an exaggeration from the people who are annoyed that the 30% is not meat, but it still is meat. Well maybe you can get a salad, mozzarella sticks, and a yogurt. But I would suggest not, eat at a better restaurant or make it at home.

McDonald's uses actually meat in their food and originally they used cotton seed oil and beef fry to fry their fries. The meats, and the potato's for that matter, are so refined that they add in artificial flavorings in so that they will taste like something.

Not really. Unless you get a yogurt thing. But seriously don't eat their hamburgers or any of that stuff....it's so bad for you. It really just makes me feel sick that people eat that stuff.

If it has meat then no. But McDonalds meat is real meat, I'm not sure where you heard that it's powder.

Regardless, if I were you I'd stop eating at McDonalds whether I choose to become a vegetarian or not. It's very unhealthy food whether it's their salads or burgers. Fast food=unhealthy food.

no, to be on the safe side no, the fries are no good, the salad is horriable

i like to eat an egg mcmuffin with no meat. you cant have the other stuff it IS meat.

No.

please don't ever think of eating thier salads - none veggie mayo, utensil cross-contamination etc.

Also, thier fries are cooked in dead cows.

Its not "contraversial" or "sorta meat" as mentioned above.
The fries are not suitable for vegetarians. Its so simple.

Spending money in MCDs is just encouraging them, a veggie shouldn't be doing that
