Question:

Which is the oldest religion in this world?

Can u support your answer?

Answers:
I read that Hinduism is the oldest organized religion

The oldest that I know of is Confucianism, which predates Taoism, which predates Judaism and Christianity.

The oldest belief system that we are aware of is the Babylonian religion, since theirs is the first civilization that we have on record.

This is a easy one, God believers because Adam and eve saw God first hand.

roman catholic church is the oldest organized church

Do you mean the oldest surviving? I think hinduism. If you mean the oldest ever, then maybe an ancient egyptian religion.

Once we learn to converse with whales and other sea mammals I have a hunch they'll have all the human ones beat!

As to human types? All the AmerInd tribes have held their traditions a long time. Australian Aborigines maybe? I know of a few folks that have managed to maintain pre-christian European ways. There may be a few that still keep the old Egyptian practices going. I'm sure some African people still hold their ways also.

With the wide diversity of human beliefs on this ball of rock and our long traditions of faith I'm not sure a real answer to this question is possible! Even the ancestors of Homo Sapiens Sapiens seem to have held spiritual beliefs, do we shortchange them?

I'd almost suggest you re-ask your question in the Religion section here but that would rapidly devolve into a flame fest. Instead maybe you could focus on what all belief systems seem to hold in common! The belief in some form of afterlife and some form of respect for life (i.e. prohibitions on killing).
