Red wine = bad,
Many have eggs and use fish to filter
Most vodka and hard liqueurs are fine.
A great deal of beer is fine, but not Guinness. Some use inglass/fish for filtering
Here is a list for the US and a link for the UK

Many vegans choose not to use Anheiser/Bush (sp?) because they own Sea World and sponsor rodeos, and therefore, animal cruelty.
Soda- Vegan- Don't let the brown color fool you.
Energy Drinks- Not-vegan- Has an animal-based product
Gas station Cappuccino- Not vegan- Has mono&diglicerides
***If you love a drink, you can always find out the names of the companies that make the product. Oftentimes, they may use vegetable-based sources and not label it such because they don't realize there is a desire in the market for people to know.
I email companies and they always give me useful answers.
Vodka, rum, tequilla
beef cupper soup! Suprisingly with a lack of beef.
I have seen a few different sources on the 'net. With wine I don't bother if I'm out unless it is a veggie restaurant and they know what I'm talking about. For lager I stick to Grolsch, Becks or Carlsberg and then I know I'm alright.
Soft drinks - I avoid cordials and anything that is orange (other than pure orange juice); the latter because gelatine is sometimes used as a carrier for the colouring and does not have to be listed on the ingredients.
Best advice to give you on non-alcoholic drinks is simply to check the ingredients. You're going to want to check for gelatin, eggs, dairy, honey (depending on your "degree" of veganism), et cetera.
Just about any liquor, wine, & sparkling is typically vegetarian, but you can't always be sure. In liquors look for bone char, and in wine check for isinglass or gelatin.
Beers you are going to have to be more cautious with.
Unfortunately, I had to give up Guinness when I went veggie, since Guinness contains isinglass (which is derived from fish guts).
Click on the links in my sources for lists of vegan beverages.
This might help on the alcohol front.

Many beers, wines and other alcoholic beverages are filtered with animal ingredients such as isinglass (derived from fish) or bone char. While the filtering process only leaves trace animal residues in the final product, the fact that animal products are used at all leaves many beverages off of the vegan drinker's shopping list. To make matters worse, some drinks are simply not vegan by virtue of their ingredients, as cream, eggs, and even whole chickens can be added to a drink to give it a distinctive flavour or property. Some drinks, such as Campari and some soft drinks, use cochineal (derived from a type of beetle) as a colouring agent.
The trouble is, this isn't something you'll find on a label.
A few beers that are vegan friendly because the breweries use perlite as a filter media , which is a type of volcanic glass. According to the breweries these beersvegan friendly:
Heineken, beers from the Lion Brewery (Lionshead, Stegmeier, Pocono), Lindemans (Beer), Grain Belt Premium Beer,
Gardner Ale House, Franziskaner, Coopers, Carlsberg Canada, Carlsberg Lager, BridgePort Brewing Company, Black Oak Brewing Co., Black Isle Brewery,Anheuser-Busch, Amstel & Amstel Light, Alexander Keith's, Magic Hat Brewing Company, Molson, Okanagan Spring Brewery, Samuel Adams, Sebago Brewing Company, Sierra Nevada Brewing Company, Steam Whistle Brewing, Terrapin Beer Company, The Amsterdam Brewing Co.,Two Brothers Brewing Company, Wachusett Brewing Company, Wild Rose Brewery, Wolaver's.
Liquors that are vegan are produced in the following companies:
3 Vodka Distilling Co.,Captain Morgan Rum, Jack Daniels, Jagermeister,Jose Cuervo ,Ketel One Vodka, Skyy Vodka, Smirnoff Vodka, Stolichnaya Vodka, Tanqueray Gin.
Wines:
Beringer Wines: Whites are vegan, reds are not, Blacksmiths Winery, Bonterra Vinyards: Whites are vegan, reds are not,China Bend Winery,Frey Vineyards,Manischewitz Wine (They do not use the same type
of fining agents; they use only diatomaceous earth, which is removed from the wine with a screening process), North River Winery,Organic Wine Works, Peter Lehmann Wines: Red Wines are Vegan Friendly, Whites are not,Snoqualmie Vineyards,The Eyrie Vineyards & BlackCap. In general you could opt for kosher wines as they are all vegan.
Soft drinks or diluting juices may contain animal-derived colourants, such as cochineal
Some orange coloured drinks may contain beta-carotene held in a gelatine suspension.
Fanta Orange,Lilt Pineapple and Grapefruit all contain fish, as do the Diet versions of these products, due to (E160) a fish derivative used to stabilize the Beta-Carotene.
Cola: may contain ester gums as emulsifer. Ester gum uses glycerol, which can be of animal origin. Coca cola admits that glycerin (could be either animal or vegetarian) is an ingredient, but refuses to give aclear statement in order to "protect the original recipe".
Of course the list is not complete, but you can easily contact the company that produces your favourite beverage by email and most of themwill be more than happy to answer (if not something is probably "fishy")
