A vegetarian is sweet..I think it takes a lot of courage to be a vege and stand up to the society. Just like a man wearing a pink shirt is manly, and a guy who still has a teddy bear - it shows the sensitive side, but makes u seem very brave to come out with it.
Some women do but I personally dont think that WHAT you EAT determine your manhood. Its about how you carry yourself. If these women have issues with you being a vegetarian, they have some personal issues with themselves.
Good Luck!!!
I find them to be very, very sexy.
Of course not, but most men would think you are unmanly, or at least , weird in the head.
i agree with the other people, what you eat doesnt determine your personality. if they cant take you for being a vegan, then you dont need them anyways.
Well, depends on who the woman is, and most ppl at my school would call a vegetarian a sissy, but no offence, but most women consider vegetarian men sorta...back in the 80's or either "groovy" or hot...but mostly just uncool
Not necessarily. However, the other day in my spanish class we watched a short video where the father demanded that his family would eat red meat even though his daughter was vegetarian. When we discussed the video, our teacher talked about how certain characteristics are conceived as manly - an example being to eat red meat. Apparently it was a sign of male strength and aggressiveness somehow. However, I would not say it is manly or unmanly to be a vegetarian. As long as someone likes you the way you are, who cares, right? ;)
Why would women think you're unmanly because you don't eat meat?
Since when did men become associated with meat? Just because you'd rather eat tofu than a cow doesn't mean you're not manly. It just means you've got morals.
Well I think some other men may consider a vegetarian guy un manly but I think any vegetarian girl would prefer it, I know I do.
i dont think so! a man who doesnt eat meat just shows that he cares about the "animals" and/or is able to keep a commitment! i kind of think it's hot! hehe.. and i mean you're only not eating the meat! that doesn't mean you can't act like animal in bed! ;) hahaha.. don't worry about it!
Those who do are rather shallow.
Not at all
Acctually I know alot ofpeople who prefer Vegitarian men
definitely not! I would love to find one.
I would say unusual but not unmanly.
NO if you still work out and stuff than its not unmanly, a nice woman will not think so, look for other vegetarians maybe.
Certainly not the sort of women you'd want to associate with.
I don't. The few I've known have been anything but the effete wimps of the stereotype.
I think it takes bigger balls, so to speak, to be vegetarian than it does to eat standard American junk.
I don't. My man is vegetarian and I think he's manly.
Maybe you're not meeting the right kind of women. Try dating vegetarians like you.
I never had any problems with finding women! Matter of fact I used being veggie as part of my pick-up line
And I find it interesting that the only negative remarks about male vegheads are from men. I don't think they like the competition!
I don't date anymore (and haven't for a *long* time) but being veggie was never an obstacle, it was a plus!
i think its hot??lol...really<33
guys i know would say "thats so gay" but it takes a real man to wear pnik, a real man to cry, and a real man to be a vegetarian!
I dont think people care. Vegetarianism is a very common diet for both sexes.
No. Real men are compassionate. I think that men that are not veg are not cool. Our society has programmed us into thinking that men have to eat meat like a bunch of cavemen or something. How dumb is that!! You should be searching for a veg woman though because a non-veg will not understand you at first. Stand your ground and don't change.
I'm sure some ignorant ones do. But any smart woman would see that a compassionate man is incredibly sexy. And being veg makes you taste better... thats sexy.
Maybe very shallow women who want to date cave men do. But the really beautiful (inside and out) women wouldn't.
You wouldn't want to associate with shallow women anyway, so what's the loss?
Look at it this way - many of my gay male friends WERE big meat eaters. Many of my straight male friends are vegetarian and vegan. When the two groups got together once and started talking sex. My word! I shouldn't have been in the room!! Meat clogs up the arteries. Makes for well, a limp noodle. How many men would go veg if they realized that?
So when those girls say you're unmanly - just smile at them. Let the insult roll right off of you. You know better!
Most of of consider it to be very sensitive. However, you should not go overboard on the sensitivity thing. If you do, some people (who might I add are incredibly rude) might think you're gay or something.
Congratulations on being a vegetarian for so long!!! =)
You're at the age when your years of vegetarianism will really pay off. Over age 40, meat eaters tend to have -- um, let's just say "problems" with their manliness. Diabetes and high blood pressure start to take their toll, and those small blood vessels you-know-where get clogged up. Suddenly they find they have to start popping viagra!
Most veggie guys stay studly for a long, long time. My wife says her friends married to meat eaters complain that they just don't get any action, while the ones married to vegetarians say they aren't getting enough sleep!
Nope. If anything, it makes you seem more sensitive. I'm 22, and I've been a vegetarian since I was about 14. Chicks dig us veggies. :)
i don't think i know any male vegetarians and i wish i did! it definitely would make the guy more attractive to me.
Stereotypically speaking, I think that would be way down on their innate list. Top of the list is being financial stability. Then basic hygiene would be a good second. Then perhaps looks, but the more financially stable a male is, the less looks matter. Being vegetarian, I don’t think it has much to do with anything. Generally speaking, money makes you manly. Bill Gates, manly? Donald Trump, manly? These dudes are very unmanly. Trump has a big mouth, and Gates a big brain. As I said, top of the list, they are always worried about finances (that’s $money$). Few females would consider giving up money for love, unless in the back of their mind they think they can change things, like taking the bad-boy biker gang guy and turning him into a nice cuddly guy. Basically, try attracting any female when you are job hopping and have no money the bank and just can’t get a break. If you manage to hook up with one, she’ll be constantly trying to ‘help’ you get a better job, or advance your career training, and so forth. Helping you to be more financially stable, because otherwise, she will be very ‘worried’. They worry a lot, but do not worry too much about their man being manly or not; that’s down on the list. They like to see you doing productive things, working, earning money, working towards the stable environment of a house, home, career, etc. Stereotypically speaking that is.
OK, that’s my close-minded male-sided comment for the day.
My vegan boyfriend is hot!... But I find intellect to be very sexy.
;)
