Does dough have eggs in it?!

Question:

Does dough have eggs in it?

does dough have eggs in it? like for regular pizza?

Answers:
PIzza dough shouldn't have egg in it. But I'd point out that the US made Totino's frozen "pizza" does actually have an egg based crust! I'm not a fan of frozen pizza and the quotes regarding their product are strictly used for insult purposes.

some do, some don't.
1:
1/2 cups flour
1 cup warm water (between 95° and 115° F.)
2 T yeast (2 tablespoons, I like my dough a little yeasty. You can use less)
2 T honey
1/4 cup olive oil
1/2 tsp. salt

it depends..

I think that you need eggs in dough in order to hold it together.

i dono maybe, check the ingredients

Some do and some don't

its depends what dough u get. Most doughs available at local super markets do contain eggs. But i know some stores such as trader joes or some like amish store or something do have dough without eggs.

hope this helped!

It depends on what type of dough you are talking about. In pizza dough no, but in pasta, cookie, and pie dough yes.

No. Ingredients in regular pizza dough are flour, yeast, oil, sugar & salt.

most dough for stuff like cake and cookies usually have eggs but pizza is usually made with out.

Most likely yes. Sometimes pizza places offer a vegan (or vegetarian) pizza, if so that means that it SHOULD not have eggs in it. I would check just to make sure.

It shouldn't have as it is unnecessary. You can make a perfectly decent pizza base yourself without eggs but most pre-made mixes for some strange reason have milk, eggs or derivatives in it!!

Not usually, no. Pizza dough is usually just flour, salt oil, water, and yeast. But ask your server if you're concerned.

have never seen a pizza dough with eggs in it...

Yes and no. No on pizza dough but yes on rolls it varies on what you make with your dough of cough there is prepared dough out there it is your call as what your going to od wit it making bread certain ones no you don't need eggs as I said check cook books to see what is need
