Wholefood Market recipe needed?!

Question:

Wholefood Market recipe needed?

I NEED the recipe for "Brown Rice and Edamame" that is served at the Wholefoods Market salad bar. The store refused to give the recipe to me.

Answers:
I'm not surprised that they refused to give you the recipe since they don't actually make it fresh in the store! They're supplied at least two different versions of it to boot (depending on the store location).

Here's one version that may be like the one you had:

1 1/2 cups brown rice
3 cups water
1 tbsp. olive oil
1 tsp. salt
1 cup cooked edamame
1/3rd cup sliced green onions
3 tsps.minced fresh mint

Heat the water, oil and salt to boiling.
Add the rice and simmer until rice is tender.
Toss the cooked rice with the cooked edamame, sliced green onions and mint.

The other version I've seen in their stores is similar to the one at recipezaar linked below..
