Any quick tofu recipies??(for dinner)?
wondering if anyone had any quick and tasty tofu recipies. I don't have much time to prepare meals, but i don't want to have to microwave frozen meals all the time.
Answers:
These are recipes I make often and I find them to be relatively easy.
P.S: I use egg free mayonnaise for the Reuben.

If you buy the firm kind, slice and place on a sprayed baking sheet with cut up red peppers, mushrooms and red onions. A little olive oil, salt pepper and roast for 25 minutes at 425. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese and cook for 5-10 more minutes.
If you like a little more heat and flavor add red pepper flakes and oregano, or serve with a hearty red sauce

Yes the quickest tofu recipe ever.
1. Pick up the tofu
2. Throw it away, (a trash can preferably)
3. Applaud yourself for choosing to eat real food and not that health crap.
Enjoy your meal
You can heat olive oil (or vegetable oil) in a skillet/wok with salt/pepper, add some basil and get soy paste (or soy sauce). If you use the paste you might want to add a bit. Then put sliced tofu (firm or otherwise) and sautee it for a few minutes on high heat. Then you can add some other stuff like mixed vegetables. You can also add diced tomatoes, but if you do that you should use vinegar instead of soy paste or sauce.
Try mixing soy sauce, garlic, and sesame oil together (in proportions that taste good to you), pour it over a block of tofu, then cover the whole thing w/plastic wrap and microwave on high until it's heated through. The tofu will absorb some of the sauce and whatever is left over, you can use for dipping.
Blend some firm tofu into your favorite marina sauce... toss in some black olives and broccoli and serve over whole wheat pasta...
