I know flax seed oil pills exist, but the capsuals are made with animal gelatin.

Try flaxseed oil or hempseed oil. Both are available in capsule form.

I don't know of that, but you can get the flax seed oil in a bottle, so it's a liquid only.
omega 3 fatty acid is normally from the animal source and most often it is fish. Its qite difficult to derive it from natural source and even if u do so the issue of stability matters. Also these need to be put in a capsule and normally the capsules need to be done with animal gelatin for a longer shelf life and agin stability . So I guess the quality of the drug with an animal source is much better.
No i don' t think so. Try eating foods rich in omega 3 oils like nuts and flax seeds, since you do not eat meat or fish.
