McDonalds Fanta Orange, not suitable for vegetarians. WHY?!

Question:

McDonalds Fanta Orange, not suitable for vegetarians. WHY?

If you check out the tray liners at McDonalds (UK) on the back there's "Nutrition Breakdown" of food. In the drinks section, it states that Fanta Orange is not suitable for vegetarians....What could possibly be in an orange drink that makes this so.......?

Answers:
It is because the food coloring in it is made from crushed cochlear beatles, which would be considered an animal source. Too gross whats in food colors!

I also wonder. Surprising ., What is going on in this World now ? Day by Day whee will we reach ? God knows. Orage is not classified in Veg. ?

I suppose they have put gelatine or some form of animal fat into it. You would be suprised at the amount of things that are not vegatarian- liqourice allsorts, haribo, jelly babies, etc

Nothing its the fact that to drink McDonalds fanta you would have to be in the place that as the reputation of being the biggest consumer of beef in the world.

Its something about using fish substance...

"The following products may contain trace amounts of fish, which is used as a stabilizer:

‘Fanta’ Orange (and light)

Lilt Pineapple & Grapefruit (and light)

Alive Orange Cascade

Kia-Ora Orange & Pineapple (and no added sugar)"

ew lol

It's probably Carmine, a reddish food coloring made from insects. It's very common in foods.

I was told that the strawberry milkshakes are not suitable either, dont know why though

" the Beta-Carotene in certain Fanta and Lilt products contains 'Fish Gelatine' "

Hi!

Sad to say, but - animal fat!!! Yuk!!

Retinol Palmitate is often fish-derived.

Think they use isinglass (its made from fish bladders or something) It's used to clear cloudy liquids.

That is disgusting. What a way to ruin a drink.
