Would PETA hate me if I was flexitarian?!
Would PETA hate me if I was flexitarian?
Flexitarianism: diet mainly consisting of vegetarian foods, with a few exceptions.
Answers:
peta hates everyone who doesn't give them money
why do you care what PETA thinks? they are creepy.. they don't even think people should have pets!!!
Honestly, it's just PETA, why does everyone have a big concern about how they feel about things? I mean unless you are an active member, I don't think you should worry about how they feel.
Besides if you are happy and secure in your choices when it comes to your diet, then don't worry about it.
PETA is kind of anal but i think a vegan should make their own diet NO MEAT but if something has an egg in it eat the damn piece of cake lol thats what i do you dont have to be anal and straight as an arrow. do what you wanna do who cares what PETA thinks there are alot of other save the animal foundations THANK YOU
................................. HUH !!!
Don't worry about what PETA thinks. You eat what you like and wear what you like and enjoy your life, thats what its all about. Don't let one group of wackos control your life.
why would you care what PETA, or anyone else thought of your personal eating habits? Make whatever exceptions you need. The peta police are not likely to turn up on your doorstep with a warrant. Eat whatever the heck you please
what's a PETA???
Well, "flexitarian" is a synonym for "omnivore" so no, they might not like you. But that's PETA for you.
Also, first person to say "people eating tasty animals" gets punched in the face.
I don't know about PETA but I get quite annoyed with anyone that uses terms like that!
Terms like that only serve to create more confusion amongst the general omnivorous population as to what a vegetarian is. Please use the correct term omnivore!
PETA is irrelevant to the question of what diet is reasonable. Actually PETA is just another donation organization claiming to be animal rights, when really they are animal welfare.
The ones hating you for a pseudo-vegetarian (flexitarian) diet are those who die for it. Those that die are the ones your focus should be. Animals get killed for meat, milk and eggs.
And to respond to someone else in the thread who thinks rejecting foods containing eggs is anal, what if that cake contained human ovaries - which are our eggs...
No, I think that they would encourage you to go further. A lot of people are "flexitarian" when first starting to explore veganism. It's the first stepping stone to a truly animal-product free lifestyle. Welcome to the clan! :)
A flexitarian is a silly made up word for an omnivore. An omnivore by defination is one who eats meat and plant food and a "flextarian" does exactly that. It does not matter how often or how much...you are still an omnivore.
Human beings are what they call OMNIVORES,meaning eats EVERYTHING NON-TOXIC
Just eat what is healthy for your body and don't eat too much dairy and junk food and stay active. You shouldn't care what PETA think's, beside's they are very radical and they are even against having pet's! C'mon, that's alittle insane.
beardedbarefooter made me laugh. he may be right
PETA is an organization, not an individual, so I don't think regardless of your diet PETA could hate you. As far as a general consensus, members of PETA would be happy to hear you are making an effort to restrict animals from your diet and would encourage you to take that further.
And to the two that said PETA doesn't want you to have pets: Where in the heck are you getting this from??? I live right by the headquarters here in Norfolk. A lot of PETA workers have pets. In fact everyone I know that works there has pets.
As long as you can properly care for your animal companions, what's the problem?
I've always taken the word flexitarian to mean
meat reducer. I don't think any reasonable
PETA member or vegan can hate you for that.
Afterall, most of us vegans had to start somewhere.
Very few changed overnight.
That's absurd! Even if they did, it's really not important what they think. If you are making even small changes to your diet, you are doing your positive bit for the world in your own way, no one can hate you for that. If they do they are extremists, and I definitely wouldn't take anything they said to heart. You deserve respect for making a step in the right direction!
Flexi-what? Does anyone else think that's just a silly name vegetarian wannabes came up with? Sure sounds like one...heh
There's no such thing hunny :)
