Vegan

I'm a vegetarian who still eats fish. It would be almost impossible for me to eat vegan. Think of all you can't eat:
milk
eggs
cheese
butter
chicken
fish
steak
seafood

It's expensive, difficult and time consuming to buy all vegan foods, and makes it almost impossible to eat on the go.

I have a good friend who is a vegan and she is very happy about becoming one. Her skin is clearer and she seems to be happier. She is able to get all of her nutrition by the foods that she gets from a local health foods store. She still goes out to certain restaurants in our town that actually have a menu for vegans.

Yes Vegan .. and very happy I made the choice .... It is initially a harder one but to me it was worth it....

i'm
you should do it only if you're already a vegetarian
if not start with vegetarian

Just make sure you are eating whole grains and beans. Don't just eliminate meat and milk and eggs - replace it with healthful choices...not just cookies and crap. I didn't have the time to cook all that stuff, and found my body just does not digest whole grains - so I had to quit - I tried every natural therapy to correct this problem. So it didn't end up being for me, but I love the ideology of being vegan and still eat very little ammounts of milk and meat and find myself to be very healthy...but for me those things are essential (diabetic and anemic - need protein occasionally from meat) Been to the dr. once or twice in the last 10 years only! Good luck!

Vegan here. Four years strong. Just be smart and pay attention to what you're eating and you'll be fine. It just takes some time to adjust your eating routine, and then it's second nature. One thing I experienced that I'll warn you about: for the first few days, I was hungry ALL the time. I figure it was because I wan't getting that big shot of saturated fat and cholesterol every time I ate cheese or eggs, so make sure you have plenty of vegan snacks on hand once you start, in order to ease the transition.

Yeah
