"It is almost impossible to become protein-deficient outside of famine conditions (in which too few calories overall are ingested to support life, and those calories derived from only one or two food sources). A varied vegetarian diet with adequate calorie intake ensures adequate protein inherently."

peanuts
try quorn products they give meat substitutes for any meal even like mince and meat balls or you can get ready made meals by them. BUt the best source of protein is any type of bean. Kidney beans, black eyed peas, things like that.
"It is very easy for a vegan diet to meet the recommendations for protein, as long as calorie intake is adequate. Strict protein combining is not necessary; it is more important to eat a varied diet throughout the day."
Some very easy sources are tofu, soymilk, beans, nuts, grains, broccoli and spinach.
Try penut butter and beans (not in a combonation....alone)
Or if you prefur you can mabey get protein pills (if there is such a thing)
oh your cool! vegetarians rock! i would start that but i always end up eating meat! UGH! well anyways you should eat fruit! mmmmmmmm...... grapefruits. protien? idk
quinoa, cause it contains all essential amino acids.
nuts, beans,fish, and,peanut butter,
I wouldn't worry about a protein souce.
An analogy would be if I were to worry about a calorie source.
Q: From what foods should I get my calories? What should I buy and eat to make sure I'm eating calories?
A: From ALL foods. Since all foods have calories, then there's no need to eat a special calories source.
All foods have protein, so as long as you eat something, anything, you're getting protein. Not all foods have all 9 essential amino acids. Solution? Eat a variety of foods. Really, it's that simple.
We only need 8% of our caloric intake to come from protein, so there's nothing to worry about as far as getting enough protein. Yes, protein is a very important macronutrient, but easy, easy, we only need a little of it.
Carlee: She asked for a vegetarian source, and you suggested fish. Fish is flesh, so it isn't vegetarian.
rice and beans.
Nuts.
tofu ice-cream?
You should read vegetarian times. If you hate being a vegetarian so much, why don't you just stop?
Whole grains, legumes, nuts, etc are all great sources.
