Can vegetarians really count to over one hundred?

Every clinical study on vegetarians undertaken so far has failed to find one who can count above 86. Does anyone else think this is strange?

Actually, that's not so bad when you consider that all the clinical studies done on meat eaters have failed to find one who can count above 50.

And I don't find that strange at all.

I have a minor degree in mathematics, and I am vegetarian. My 12 year old homeschooled vegetarian daughter is a math wiz, winning contests all of the time. Sorry to poke a whole in your ill thought out theory. Can you do advanced college level math at age 12?

Well, it has been found that counting is closely related to the amount of pure lean raw beef that you eat. Sometimes I'll order a burger and it is not until after I eat it that I discover that the McDonald's employee short-changed me... Coincidence? I think not!! That's very strange that you came up with 86, I have always heard around 87. Very compelling indeed.

I have been a vegetarian for 3 years, and I'm 2 grades ahead in math.
And I think most people over the age of 6 can count to 100.
And where have you found studies that show how well vegetarians can count?

I know ALOT of vegetarians, and we can all count as easily as anyone else. My 2 year old neice has never had dairy products, eggs, or milk in her life, and she can count to 10. At 2 years old.

Yeah, I guess they can. Maybe the clinical studies you have read were flawed or maybe it proves that a non-vegetarian cannot read.

I *do* think this is strange, because REAL stuides show the opposite. Have a link to a scientific study that says that?

Because REAL studies tend to show that those with higher IQ's are vegetarians.
