What foods can I eat that are rich in protein and Vegan friendly?!


Question:

What foods can I eat that are rich in protein and Vegan friendly?

I'm in desperate need of some protein, and I'm Vegan (of course). What things can I eat?

-tofu
-nuts

But what else??


Answers:
There are many veggie burgers that are EXCELLENT sources of protein. The vegan Boca burger has about 13g. or so I believe.

Also, many fake meats have lots. I eat a brand of tofurkey (Smart Deli) that has tons.

Not to mention, beans. If you put some beans and brown rice in a wheat tortilla with some soy cheese, you have a super-filling meal, full of lots of protein and fiber.

Beans, grains and soy products that are vegan are rich in protein. Protein is in everything though...even veggies.

beans, beans, beans.......

soy cheese, soy milk are very high in protein.

Try quinoa, its like rice, but higher in protien.

nuts, beans, legumes, soy. Make sure to eat a variety of things since you need to acquire all esential amino acids your body cannot make.

Soybeans is a good optional choice.

Try drinking soy bean milkshake with pearls...
