Do vegans eat cake?!

Question:

Do vegans eat cake?

I was wondering because vegans don't eat eggs, right? Well, there are eggs in cake, so, do they?

Answers:
Vegans do eat cake.

Not all cakes have to have eggs in them.

I have been making a vegan chocolate cake for years with a vegan icing. It is absolutely delicious and does not rely on egg replacers such as applesauce or substitutes.

I wouldn't say the cake is healthy, but that's not the point. It is by all means completely vegan and people have begged me for the recipe not ever knowing or even caring whether or not it had eggs in it.

good question... i dont know

apples are usually replacement for eggs. i am vegan and i eat the cake i make or the one my vegan pastry shop owners make.

most certainly not. they don't eat eggs, or milk that would be in the icing. some vegans don't even eat sugar.

Hardcore ones dont eat dairy or eggs, so no

well of course they wouldnt do that...they would have to substitute the eggs with another substance...or just dont eat cake at all cuz i really dont think its possible to have a cake without eggs.

i DONT THiNK SO BUT i COULDNT BE A VEGAN!

I have a couple of Vegan friends and they bake cakes with soy milk, applesauce, or date butter. They are quite good. There are lots of Vegan dessert recipes.
Good luck

im not sure
