The argument that lions are not murderers and they eat meat so we should all eat it too is silly. Lions are carnivores, so they do need it. We're omnivores, we dont need it, we can live off veg food (which is more than salad, despite the stereotype), there is not one nutrient that you cant get from a non-animal source.

I would never call a meat eater this though I do disagree with eating meat.
Carnivorous animals are different as they have no choice but to eat meat.
animals in the wild are part of the food chain-they often have no choice but to eat other animals-but, they posses the capability of hunting, catching, killing and eating an animal without the benefit of tools or cooking-if humans were meant to eat meat, they would have the same skills. If most people had to hunt, slaughter, and butcher their own meat, most would become vegetarians. Humans have plenty of available options, and do not need meat to thrive. Most are brainwashed that they are the "top" of the food chain. Man was designed to garden-we have an imposable thumb for picking fruits and veggies-not the skills to slaughter animals.
