Has anyone gotten intestinal gastric problems (gas) from Soy Milk?...?
Soy is so good for you, that I was wondering if there's another way (that won't cause gas & stomach upset) to ingest it? (like the beans?...Is there a soybean snack like Sunflower Seeds, you could use that wouldn't bother your intestinal track?) Three people in my family have this problem from it & need help BAD...bcz we all use it every morning on our cereal...and our taste is only satisfied by the use of 1/2 & 1/2 (Yukkkkk---way BAD for us!).

Try enriched rice milk. I stopped eating soy ice cream because it made me so gassy. Also oat and almond milk are out there to try although they are harder to find. I think the "benefits" of eating soy is due to the elimination of animal fats rather than the soy itself. Nice hair ;)
totally
Meat eaters, epecially higher than normal volume tend to passed gas far more than non meat eaters
I've been drinking soy milk since childhood and I've never had those problems.
But anyway, try: http://www.soyjoy.com
I have the same problem and cannot handle soy in any form. It is called being soy intolerant. Soy is good for you UNLESS you are intolerant to it. I use Lactaid milk and say completely away from soy.
It could be that like me, you are allergic to soy. I had IBS issues when I used it. Try rice, almond, cashew, or sesame milk as a good sub.
The first thing to do is change the brand of soy milk you use! Check the ingredient panel for carageenan and try one that doesn't use it. You might wish to try the 'raw' soy milk from an Asian grocery as those usually don't have it. If you still have problems with that soy milk switch to almond or rice milk
You can find soy nuts, soy chips, soy butter and dozens of other soy foods! If you really are sensitive to soy those won't help you much though.
You may be Soy intolerant, Try excluding soy from your diet. If your problems go away then you are soy intolerant. I understand that it's hard to cut soy out because they put it in everything, but you just have to read the ingredients. Soy is a common food allergy trigger. Also if you want to substitute cow's milk with something healthier, then you could try rice milk, almond milk. Good luck.
