Pure, the vegan alternative to butter/margarine?!

Question:

Pure, the vegan alternative to butter/margarine?

I recently tried Pure spread after reading about it on these pages and although I wasn't keen at first I now find it very tasty. Even my dogs like it! Has anyone else been tempted to try a particular food after reading about it on here?

I have no idea about omega in butter, but this Pure vegan spread is totally animal by-product free. I believe a synthetic version of omega 3 is available, but whether or not it's in butter is a different matter. Check with the manufacturers to be sure.

Vegetarian marshmallows from a health food store! I had been looking for them for four years!!!!

Indian food.

No, not untill now, thanx I'll have to check that out. I thought margerine was vegan though because it's rehydrogenated vegetable oil though.

Thanks for mentioning it. I was reading not too long ago how bad margarine is for our bodies.

Is the omega in the pure butter fish oils or plant oils iam a vegan

never tried it.

Earth Balance

I've tried recipies before but not food products - not that I wouldn't, I just haven't! Not meaning to be mean but how do you know your dogs like it? lol! My aunty's dog ate half a slab of butter the other day before we could get it off her so actually I can't say nothing! xx

I perfer Soy Garden, as a Vegan margarine.

Hi Fiona Omega 3 can be otained from linseeds!! I like pure too it is nice!! I was tempted to become a vegan by being on this site I was a vegetarian when I joined and the vegans on here inspired me!!

I have tried recipes but not products before.May give this 1 a try instead of the usual vegan butter I try.

And Fiona omega oils are found in linseed and rapeseed and a few other plant sources-I don't know the complete list but you should be able to find it with a bit of searching online.
