If you are looking for an egg substitute for baking, often the following work:

1) 1/2 cup Apple sauce
2) 1 tsp Baking soda, 1.5 Tblspoon of water, 1.5 tablespoon of oil
3) 1 tbsp gram (chick pea) or soya flour and 1 tbsp water
4) ? large banana, mashed

The substitute would depend on what you are baking and how much of a texture you want.

If you are looking for an egg substitute for egg scrambled eggs or omelette type stuff, you can use soft/super-soft or liquid tofu. Soft or Medium works great for a scrambled tofu recipe. You can even use tempeh for veg bacon

Some people consider eggs vegetarian (I'm a vegetarian and eat eggs) because it is not living. The eggs don't have life.

If you have issues with the yolk, egg whites area available in the supermarket in a milk-type container.
