So I'm a vegetarian who wants to become a vegan?!
So I'm a vegetarian who wants to become a vegan?
but it's against my religion to waste food. So what do I do with all this dairy crap in my fridge?

BTW: I live across the country from my family and I don't know any of the neighbors. Any other suggestions?

4warned, you obviously don't know the difference between vegetarian and vegan, and for that, you are unwelcome to answer ANY of my questions. If you think you know what you're talking about, you are sadly mistaken.

Feed it to stray dogs/cats ....
Donate them to a homeless shelter ...
give it to a friend or a parent or sibbling, I'm sure they'd be happy to get it.
put a sign up at your grocery store offering "free milk, free yogurt, free ice cream, free cheese, etc.."
put on the sign the reason is because you are becomming vegan and don't want to waste your food
Give it to your neighbors....
You could make a dinner for some non vegetarian friends, with the food you have left over.
i don't know why you'd be a vegan... our teeth are made for ripping and tearing meat, not grinding leaves. and w/out supplements you'd die eating that way. though you think you're trying to be natural, it's unnatural. plus God said all animals are clean to eat, he didn't say not to. who am i to think i can eat better than what God tells me to?
If you have dairy in your frig you haven't been eating vegetarian long enough to label yourself one. come back in a few weeks and ask about something grounded in fact.
How many dairy products do you have?
Well you could have a party or something, get all of your friends over, Some that eat dairy. Give it to them. cook a last meal as and vegetarian that consumes dairy before you become a vegan, You don't have to eat it but you could pawn it off on somebody else.
Don't become vegan- problem solved
I read that you're a college student. Don't you have any classmates or roommates to give it to? I'm sure not everyone you know is a vegan. Oh and that 4warned person is a friggin idiot, he's probably chomping on a ham sandwich right now.
Eat what you have and don't buy anymore.
Start baking for friends! You would be surprised how fast you can get ride of dairy products like milk, cheese, cottage cheese etc...
Contact your church. I'm sure there are single moms who would love your dairy crap.
what i did when i was in the process of converting was simply telling myself, 'when you finish this bottle of milk, chunk of cheese, carton of eggs, etc., you will never buy or eat another.' and I never did. That's what I would reccommend, that way you can't feel guilty about wasting food or spending money on something you won't eat.
Unless of course you have friends or roommates who would like any of that.
