Should I eat something in place of red meat?!

Question:

Should I eat something in place of red meat?

I just recently (4-5 weeks ago) gave up eating red meat, and ever since I've gotten a horrible cold three times. I have also been more tired. I have random bursts of energy, but then they die out... like a sort-of sugar rush. Is it because I only eat chicken and fish? Does red meat contain something that I need to replace with other foods?

Answers:
protein,need to find foods high in protein

Fish and chiken are healthier substitues to red meat; those problem maybe are due to other factors but not for the lack of red meat. If you made changes to your diet, make sure you have a balance diet, protein, carbs, vitamins; make, sure your are eating enough, vegetables, fruits, water, besides the fish and poultry;

Also try changing brands, may be you are eating something that is of poor quality or that you are allergic to. Go for fresh products. It could also be that your new diet and your colds are just a coincidence, to quit red meat is not suposed to get you sick, it is suposed to get you healthy.

you dont need ANY meat. Its likely that your body is reacting to all the nasty stuff in chicken-its loaded with toxins, such as parasites, growth hormones, antibiotics, steroids, feces, urine, etc. Most chicken is "enhanced with up to 18 percent solution-marked on the label) That "solution" contains many allergens such as wheat and soy, and also has chlorine bleach and hydrogen peroxide-it is used to sanitize the meat from the fecal matter and other toxins. If you have increased your intake of chicken, you might be developing an allergic reaction to one of the ingredients. I recommend allergy testing. There is nothing in red meat, or any meat for that matter, that would account for your colds. Meat is unsanitary, and you can best serve your body by giving up all meat and trying a wholesome organic vegetarian diet. If you choose to do this, do lots of research so you get all of the proper nutrition

When my friend stopped eating red meat, he had similar symptoms. He was eating lots of protein thinking that may be it, but wasn't feeling much better. He finally went to a doctor who said it was probably do to lack of iron. He started taking supplements and within a few days started feeling normal.

One source of perfect protein is brown rice cooked, dry roasted sesame seeds, and soya sauce or tamari. Boil rice until cooked. Drain dry if necessary. In dry hot wok or fry pan, dry roast sesame seeds. Put on plate and add small amount of preferred oil to hot wok or pan, and toss/stir rice, then add soya sauce or tamari and add sesame seeds. cook quickly and eat hot or cold. Very tasty and great for you.
