A balanced diet with your 5 portions of fruit and veg a day. If you mean specifically alternative foods to meat, if you are a new vegetarian, try soya or tofu, but tofu isn't so nice. Realeat do frozen soya which you can use for a variety of things from vegetarian spag bol, to curries, pasties and pies.
