you can find vegetarian sources of all of the above. Google them and you will find loads of sites. For vegetarian gelatin, agar agar is a great substitute and gels very quickly. I use it all of the time (available at health or whole food stores) Carageenan is also a good gelatine sub, but I have not used it myself

Smoked Tofu = microwave it and it tastes like saugages in syrup.
Eat it cold and it taste like bolona

Swedish fish are the only candy that doesn't contain that ingredient you are trying to avoid. Check out goveg.com, they have this section with recipes, it's great. Also foodnetwork.com has great ideas

You can find gelatin free gummy bears and all the other things you mention at health food stores, wholefoods and sometimes regular stores.

Things made with Carnauba wax are vegan:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/carnauba_wa...
Definition:
Carnauba is a wax derived from the leaves of a plant native to northeastern Brazil, the carnauba palm (Copernicia prunifera). It is known as "queen of waxes" and usually comes in the form of hard yellow-brown flakes. It is obtained from the leaves of the carnauba palm by collecting them, beating them to loosen the wax, then refining and bleaching the wax.
(It is vegan as long as it is not mixed with bee's wax, even though you are not vegan, just thought I should tell you)
Gelatin- Is made from animal bones and other animal parts, So therefore can't be vegan, but there are substances that have the same properties as gelatin, but Are vegetarian friendly:
Agar-Agar
Carrageenan
(There are more, but I don't really know about them.)
You can find recipes using vegetarian substitutes for gelatin online.

I've noticed that a lot of jelly beans (including Jelly Bellys) do not contain gelatin (which I assume is why you're avoiding gummy bears & marshmallows). Marshmallow creme also does not. Vegan marshmallows (haven't seen any that are just vegetarian) are available, but I haven't found any in my area, though they are available online at places like www.veganessentials.com . Good luck.
