When all the honey bees die what will happen to vegans?
Answers:
As a veghead I'll still be around since I have the capacity to grow quite a bit of my food. I'll be hand pollinating my crops to maintain enough production for me to survive (I already hand pollinate the stuff I grow indoors). Most of the worlds population is about to experience a massive die off though. That includes animals BTW.
How are you meat eaters going to survive the die off?

Vegetarians do not eat fish. A fish eater is a Piscivore. Spread the correct word!

that means no more animals either idiot... so everyone will starve
The same for the meat eater, remember you need grass and clover and such for those animals to eat
This is a huge issue across the United States, maybe the world
We will all suffer-vegans and meat eaters
I'm sure they will not starve to death...
Instead of eating bee barf, they'll have to eat some other barf.
We would all die. Millions of acres of U.S. fruit, nut, vegetable, seed and legume crops depend on insect pollination. An estimated 80 percent of insect crop pollination is accomplished by honeybees.
Crops that require bees for pollination include apples, avocados, blueberries, cherries, cranberries, oranges, grapefruit, sunflowers, tangerines and watermelon. In addition, the production of most beef and dairy products depends on alfalfa, clover and other plants that require pollination.
Alot of people would suffer.Crop production would be really low.I don't eat honey because it kills them because alot get squished in the process.
-Honey bees are important pollinators in agricultural, urban, and natural landscapes.
-Bees pollinate about 130 fruit, vegetable, nut, ornamental, and fiber crops in the US contributing about $15 billion annually through improved crop yield and product quality.
-Hundreds of millions of dollars are additionally generated through the sale of hive products such as honey, wax, pollen, propolis, royal jelly, and venom.
I saw a link on another forum just this week saying that when the honeybees stop pollinating, all f us would be dead within 4 years. That was a quote from Albert Einstein, BTW, so don't flame me, I'm just quoting what I've read.
It's unimaginable & humbling that we are so dependent on such tiny creatues.
We need to all do our part now, before things get worse environmentally.
It will be survival of the fittest in just a short while.
Good luck
The honey bee is the most important creature on the earth. When they go we all follow. No pollination of any plants, nothing to turn CO2 into O2. No fresh air, no plants to make cow feed out of, no parsley to put on the plate for looks.
Vegans will go with the meat eaters, the vegetarians, the fasters, and the liquid dieters.
Support your local honey farmer.
Honey is made by an animal critter an insect called The Bumble Bee.. because of those Vegans do not eat honey!
Vegans don't partake of anything of animal and never eat any meats nor dairy products either.. therefore your question
cannot apply to vegans. However most life will probably die too if All Honeybees die. That is unlikely to happen!
