I want to become a Raw-foodist....?!

Question:

I want to become a Raw-foodist....?

should I or shouldnt I ?

Answers:
I think it is silly. Just eat more salad if you want to, but do not go overboard.

Boy I would miss pancakes!

probly not

its not a great idea.
Even being a vegan is hard and unhealthy. Why not try limiting your diet instead to raw veggies and cooking your protein?

No. All this nonsense about food and what to eat and not eat is a waste of time, energy and sanity.

No! not a great idea.. if you are doing for the sake of losing weight - then forget it..you will end up gaining weight :) you can try salad but always have good breakfast / and full filling dinner... you can have salad in lunch / snack but still dont forget to add protein in your deit

If you are committed, I think that's a great idea. Not anyone can commit to that kind of diet, but if you are willing, go for it. Don't mind anyone elses opinion.

Just visit a dietician so he or she can tell you what foods you need to maintain your health. The only concern is not getting certain vitamins and minerals. good luck.

Add elements of it to your diet, but don't go exclusive. It takes waaaaay lots of planning.

I am fascinated by raw foodists and from what I have heard it is very healthy diet. I think it relies heavily on nuts so it seems like you would be fine with protein. I would just worry it might get a bit tedious. I would suggest maybe slowly adding raw meals to your diet right now instead of making a drastic switch.

Have you heard of Pure Food and Wine, it is and all raw restaurant and supposed to be amazing.

Good Luck!

go ahead, if you think it suits you... why not???

Sure, why not. I do 80 percent raw, 20 percent lightly steamed or grilled, and I love it. Raw food has all of the enzymes necessary to digest itself, which gives your digestive system a chance to chill out. I love the taste of raw foods anyway, I always have. You can join some of the yahoo groups for good information and support. Good luck. I recommend starting slow, just adding in some raw fruits and vegetables at first, then increasing the amound daily, as you slowly back away from cooked stuff. Good luck-I suspect when I read the other answers there will be some negative ones........Dont listen to people who havent done their homework on the subject-they are clueless
