Answers:
You can do lots of things, pizza is still good to eat, and I find that if you put Dried Artichoke Hearts and Sundried Tomatoes, it's really good. And the kids can help you put the cheese on the pizza if you want, Vegitarain Stirfry, you can use Soy meats and use that to make Taco's, I love doing that. And the kids can help you by mixing water and a seasoning that would go good with the meat. And If the kids want a snack, Check out Spinich Nuggets, thier good, they have some Soy in it wand Spinich, then readed like a real chicken Nugget. Or this is my midnight snack Idea, you take a flour tortilla and smear Strawberry cream cheese on them which the kids can do then put THINLY sliced green apple on it, then role it up.. YUMMY. Also you can do vegitrain Stir fry, you can take Broccoli, Yellow Squash, Zuchcui and saute them in a rying pan then put it over rice with terriyakie (can't spell) Sauce and serve that, and if you give the kids dull knives, the kids can help chop the vegtables. Hope this helps.

If you are just starting to be a vegitarian then ceck this site out: http://www.vrg.org/

Vegetable lasagne... I always used to love putting the layers and peeling the veg

Home-made pizza's are easy and great fun.

Load up with tons of veggies to make healthier.

You can either make the dough from scratch - quick and easy - or use a bought base. Most supermarkets have one.

Its vegetarian (ensure rennet free-cheese), kid-friendly and unlike process pizza's you know exactly what's gone into it.

I suggest checking out the Vegan Lunch Box blog for some ideas - the blogger doesn't often post recipes but you can get inspiration from the ideas. She also has a cookbook out. Basically the blog is pictures of the vegan lunches she makes for her kid to bring to school.

the second one would probably be better if your cooking with the kids

My 12 year old veggie daughter and I dont like the quorn or fake meats either. We have alot of fondues, with spagetti or alfredo sauce as the dipping sauce, and steamed rosemary potatoes, brocolli, tater tots, mozzerella cheese bites, garlic bread, battered mushrooms, etc. to dunk in the sauce-you can get fondue pots inexpensively at thrift store. Involving the kids in the cooking helps them learn to appreciate food more, and is fun. My little girl has been in the kitchen with me since she could stand on a stool, and now is quite an accomplished cook! She makes mac and cheese from scratch, curried cous cous, spanish rice from scratch, bean and cheese tacos, bean, rice, and cheese buritos, stuffed jalapeno peppers, battered and fried okra, mushrooms, and hushpuppies (she likes to dunk it in spicy salsa) Try some veggie kebabs, with steamed new potatoes, pearl onions, zuchini, yellow squash, and cherry tomatoes threaded on a wooden pic and grilled or broiled-brush with homemade bbq sauce when the cooking time is almost done. Great with homemade ranch dressing. I hope this gives you some ideas. Grilled or raw fruit kababs are great with a yogurt dipping sauce. Veggie rolls in springroll wrappers are a hit too, with garlic ginger dipping sauce (kids love to dunk stuff) Have fun!
