I am a vegitarian and it annoys me when I hear people making fun of tree huggers. It also annoys me when people says we need meat when we don't! Go vegitarians and vegans!!!!!!!!!

No, My brother everytime he eats meat he's like omg this is so good and I want to knok him out of his chair and start punching him. Then he says i'm dumb because you have to eat meat to be smart when I'm the one on the merit roll and he's on the D and F list. And my tech teacher makes fun of tree huggers and I love trees! Also, kid who says I suck at spelling I happen to have a A in ELA. If you and that first guy were hear I'd start messing you guys up like I did my brother this morning. I hit him like a million times and draged him out of my room and he was crying like a little baby.

my friend is a vegetarian, and even HE likes a vegetarian joke once in a while. also, how can you be tree huggers if (not literally) you pretty much eat nothing but trees?

Nothing wrong with eating meat, just like there is nothing wrong with eating vegetables. I happen to like both and respect both. Why don't you? Who is the annoying one now?
Some people are annoying because they do tolerate other people and their beliefs. This goes both ways... Some vegetarians make fun of omnivores for their eating meat. Whatever you choose, tolerate and respect others' choices.
Because if everyone were perfect life would be boring and learning to deal with all different types of people (including annoying people) makes you a better person!!!

I've never heard a vegetarian called a tree hugger, only environmentalists. I mean come on, vegetarians pretty much eat trees or at least things that come off of them, so I think you might have your terms mixed up a little.
Keep in mind that you're playing the opposite side: JUST plugging vegans and anti-meat. Too much of ANYTHING is a bad thing, whether that's someone plugging meat, or vice versa. I say, live and let live. I like meat, but I don't make comments or chew loudly in front of people I know are vegitarians and I HOPE they'd have the common decency to do the same for me.
There do not like vegitarians, or what they eat. There dumb.

The term refers to environmental extremist not vegetarian or vegans. Most people don't care what someone else eats.
Anyway, Humans have been eating meat for thousands of years and we are descended from carnivores so how do you know that keeping it out of you diet isn't bad for you? Meat has about a thousand times as much B vitamins as vegitables.
I find it annoying when the juice from the vegatable runs into my rare piece of feel altering the taste.
And I find it annoying that after hours of skinning and hanging the fur from the rabbits I shot and ate some inconsiderate fool turns on the sprinkler.
I find it annoying when the grill is out of gas and I have a plate full of steaks.
I find it annoying when my kids hang christmas decorations on my animal heads.
I find it annoying when people come n the house and wipe their feet on my bear rug.
I find it annoying that vegitarians believe that everyone who does not believe as they do are beneath them.
And I find it distressing that some people would actually pass by an injured human being to save an animal first.
I find it annoying that people donate money to every animal cause on the planet, and not one dime to relieve human sufferinig.
If you truly want to spare the animals eat a vegetarian, corn fed, no hormones.
i don't think vegetarians are annoying unless they lecture me on eating meat. but really, you can get plenty of protein, iron, calcium etc. without meat so you should just ignore those people.

If you don't eat meat it is good for the environment because then they don't have to run those big slaughter houses and let's face it they are energy suckers and pollutant, if you do something that is good for the environment these days then you are considerd a "tree hugger" well if we all supported our environment more we would be healthier and happier do to less polution which pisses everyone off lets face it Vegetarians and meat eatters alike, being called a tree hugger isn't a bad thing. I teese my sis all the time because she takes recycling and our enviroment very very seriously but the fact of the matter is I respect her for it! We have proven humans don't need meat to live the people who say we do are just ignorant, and the people who make fun of Vegetarians are just bullies, don't take it to heart, the next time someone calls you a tree hugger just say thanks I do love the trees because without them we would all be dead : )
I have been a vegetarian for 30 years and have worked in construction. I raised two boys age 26 and 30 who hae been vegitarians since birth. Hey we are normal. .The idea that you need protein from meat is not true. protein is also in dairy products, grains and combinations of vegetables.
Meat eater get very agitated and defensive when in contact with veges. Why should they care? Insecurity? Guilt?
After all the years the sight and smell of cooking meat is like burning rotting flesh. The smell is nauceous. But I do not lay a trip on meat eaters. The only way of changing them is through setting example. I am just blessed and happy with my choice of vegitarean

I am a vegan, and only eat organics as well. Some make fun of veg*ns because they are emotionally retarded, and God forbid if someone deviates from the herd. As Leonardo da Vinci said, I don't want my body to be the tomb of animals. He also noted that most people are just latrine-fillers: the only difference in the world after they have lived here is a fuller collective latrine.
