Survey, survey!?!

Question:

Survey, survey!?

ok I'm doing a survey and it's just a yes or no and why you think and nothing else.
Do you think it's healthy to eat meat or healtheir to be a vegan or vegetarian?

Answers:
Its healthier to be a veg. Meat is full of nasty stuff, and is bad for you. You can get all of the nutrition, protein, and vitamins you need from a plant and grain based diet. Meat causes heart disease and high cholesterol-veggies dont

Meat. We're omnivores - look at our teeth.

I think it's healthier to eat meat. But you would need to make sure that your not eating all the fatty meats. Just lean meat. But I also think that sometimes vegans and vegetarians to seem a little bit happier sometimes. But meat has a lot of iron and other things that are really good for your body, and milk, cheese, and other dairy products have calcium and things like that. So as long as you find substitutes for those things, I believe that any health style could be healthy.

well, I feel anything in extreme is always bad, there should be a healthy mix of both, vegan and non veg, you need the protein and nutrients from both for a balanced diet.

See what works for you. It is necessary to take some care with being vegan or vegetarian but there's no reason why you can't have the best of both worlds. Eating meat which is generally considered to equate with protein can be fine but honestly you need much less than what we are led to believe - about half in fact- and there are repercussions I understand from having too much protein. There is protein in nuts, seeds, beans, grains and some in vegetables.
The best part of eating less meat is you can eat mountains of fruit and vegetables which means you probably should be eating organic. You can get around this by eating raw or nearly raw so you are then eating less because you get more from your food.
Getting some nutrient supplements especially minerals can be more beneficial than being strictly vegan but if you look in any basic medical text on disease you'll go back to being vegan because so many dieases are caused by eating meat.

Fruit ferments into alchohol, Veges ferment into gas, MEAT ferments into poison.

Do the math, And dig it.

I believe it is healthier to eat as a vegan/vegetarian(not sure if you are using both as one group), but vegan if your not.

Why: Scientific evidence shows that vegetarians chances of heart disease are 57% lower and 18% lower than non vegetarians on a healthy life style.

Our bodies are not made to eat meat, saliva, intestines and stomach acid proves that. Vegetarians have lower risk of cancers, osteoporosis, type 2 diabetes

Very generalized question. If the meat we eat is "healthy", then eating it is healthier than not eating it. If the vegetables we eat are "healthy", the same is true. To eat meat alone is generally unhealthy, as is eating vegetables alone. We need healthy, balanced diets that give us the nutrients we need to live. If we can get all of our nutrients from vegetables, or meat (though this would be difficult/impossible), it's fine. Overall, it's simpler to eat both.

So the simple answer is, eating both is healthiest.

May God bless you.

Veg is the best....
