Most certainly,the word came from god,the word is the truth.
Like most sins, it's overindulgence. It is considered one of the Seven Deadly sins but gluttony can be attributed to many things besides overeating. I don't think all fat people are going to hell by any stretch of the imagination. Besides a skinny person can be glutenous as well.
Well it is an error with consequences. I wouldn't put it in a category with murder or other sins. Maybe God does at that! Seems like a stumbling block to spirituality.
What's this about a 'physical problem and can't control himself'? Sounds like a cop-out for sure!
