If you had to chose only one vegetarian/vegan cookbook?!

Question:

If you had to chose only one vegetarian/vegan cookbook?

I know there are tones of good cookbooks out there and we buy some and use just few recipes in each. What is the one book that you use the most and cherish?
Thanks

Annie got it right! The full title is "The new Farm Vegetarian Cookbook"by Louise Hagler and Dorothy Bates (two wonderful women!). For the time it was initially released it would more accurately be described as a vegan cookbook since back in those days most vegans still considered honey acceptable (that's the ONLY animal ingredient called for). Nowadays you just use Agave Nectar anywhere they call for honey! Besides covering nutritional yeast it gives good basic recipes to start playing with making your own soy foods, gluten and more. Their recipe for melty "cheese" sauce is the genesis of almost every vegan non-cheese recipe out there! It even has a little information about veggie prenatal and child care.

Vegetarians do not eat fish. A fish eater is a Piscivore. Spread the correct word!

World Vegetarian by Madhur Jaffery.

Vegan Sourcebook by Joanne Stepaniak. Not exclusively a cookbook, but i has everything a prospective vegan could ever ask for.

The Farm cookbook. It is a vegan cookbook and has lots of interesting recipes using nutritional yeast. I use it more than any other cookbook by far.

It's called "An Apple A Day".....it has the best vegetarian recipes I ever tasted....they have some pecan nut patties that are to die for!!!!

Difficult choice... I would say Lean and Luscious and Meatless by Bobbie Hinman & Millie Snyder. It doesn't have any photos, but the many recipes I've made from the cookbook have been delicious!

"More With Less"
Not strictly a vegetarian cookbook but there are many many vegetarian recipes. There are more than enough recipes using legumes, grains, and vegetables that I have used frequently. Most of the ingredients used are very accessible. I love the fact that the recipes require whole foods, and its great to get ideas from around the world.

This book is a collaboration of recipes from the international Mennonite community and has been in publication for over 25 years.

Can I choose my own? The Veggy Corner?
If not then I would Choose: The World's Best and Biggest Vegetarian Manual (It's actually called that!)!
It's the Vegetarian/ Vegan's Encylopedia saw it in Timmins Library in Ontario

I like this website better than any book:

"World Vegetarian by Madhur Jaffery"
Jaffrey.
Definitely a sophisticated cookbook.
