Why do cashews turn purple when i soak them in water?!

Question:

Why do cashews turn purple when i soak them in water?

They are raw cashews

Answers:
Cashews are fruits that come in two types : yellow and red ones. The seed, or nut, is the most valuable part. The paprika-like fruit of the cashew (in fact not the fruit) can be eaten as fresh fruit or it can be turned into a juice. It has a rather acid but tasteful flavor, and the juice should not be spilled because it can create hard-to-remove stains in clothes. The purple is the juice of the fruit which is reddish purple in color ...Like oranges are orange ..so when you soak them this juice in the nut leeches out .. so cashews have 2 edible parts , the nut and the fruit like part ..
