What brand of milk does not use growth hormones for their cows?!

Question:

What brand of milk does not use growth hormones for their cows?

I'd like a brand that can actually be purchased at my local grocery store. In other words, I wouldn't have to make a special trip to a health store to purchase it. I don't have any of those near me.

Answers:
Even if they don't add extra hormones to the cows there'll still be real mammalian hormones in it if it came from an animal!

Why not try one of these national brands and then you'll be consuming no hormones at all!
Silk
8th Continent
Edensoy
Rice Dream

BTW; Soy does NOT contain hormones! It has plant based compounds of the phyto-sterol class. Those are most certainly NOT hormones.

I don't know where you live, but I know that in the Chicago area and the surrounding suburbs, Oberweis milk is hormone-free and it's sold in grocery stores. Our family has been drinking it for years.

i'm not a milk drinker myself, but if you live in new england Oakhurst doesn't use growth hormones. They say they support small family farmers and got in some legal battles with Monsanto.

happy april 20 yall

just look for any labelled organic. it means that legally they can't have used growth hormones or antibiotics on the cows.

Any Organic brand.

I don't drink milk - but have seen labels that make the claim that they don't use hormones.

BUT - take a look at the link below and see if any of the milk that you are considering to purchase is listed.

Some of the links have ALOT of information about just what one really gets when drinking cows milk.

All milk produced by cows contains hormones as part of the normal biology of reproduction and lactation. There is no such thing as hormone-free milk.

Read the FDA “No Hormones” Claims Press Release from the second link I listed for you.
