NO it is not poisonous. Note the word Artichoke-the CHOKE part of that name comes from that furry part which could choke you because it is so furry and hard to swallow.

no, it's not poison.slice it into small pieces, boil it, then drain the water, so that it'll be free from the furry stuff. otherwise, just slice the unwanted things on the artichoke, if you prefer to eat the artichokes uncut.
