Is sherbet vegan?!

Question:

Is sherbet vegan?

I have been vegetarian for over 6 years and I really want to go vegan but I cannot live without Jamba Juice and pineapple sherbet is in it.

Answers:
On the Jamba Juice website, it says all of their juices except the Vitamin C blend, are vegan. And they can make their smoothies with soy milk instead of cow's milk. I'll link you to the site, since I don't drink it, you can see what it is you like :)

I don't think cpinatsi is very knowledgeable about the suffering animals go through ... even more so to get their milk. It is very harmful to them. I'm not saying go vegan or trying to preach, but it is a flat out lie to say that it doesn't hurt them to drink their milk. Try going to www.meat.org please.

Yes it is.

yes it's made of sugar

sherbert is usually NOT vegan. it usually has eggs, milk or gelatin in it.

sorbet does not usually have any dairy and is therefore vegan.

just ask them to make it with ice and pineapple juice instead or something.

(in the US) sherbets often have milk, egg, or gelatin in them. So, I'd ask Jamba Juice. If you want to maintain a vegan diet, you're going to have to get used to asking about ingredients.

If I were you I wouldn't go vegan. Being vegan deprives you of valuable proteins and vitamins, plus it is no harm for the animals to drink their milk and make cheese and yoghurt of it. On the contrary, these animals will be extinct if we stop breeding them for milk production. Think about it.
