Just to add to what Ethi said (he got it right!)...
The original Amerikan breathairian leader (back in the '70s) had his followers drinking spring water with lemon as they transitioned away from food and water. He also required celibacy and meditation from his followers as sins of the flesh and impure thoughts were what caused addiction to food.
Addiction to material goods also caused the need to eat
Members lived in conditions that made the Shakers look like hedonists!
The group collapsed after their leader was caught in a hotel suite with a full banquet, booze and hookers

Vegetarians do not eat fish. A fish eater is a Piscivore. Spread the correct word!

somethin crazy, i'm sure
I think its someone who feels thats food inst necessary for living. Like the people who are in meditation for long periods of time don't eat b/c they feel food with cause cravings and attatchment. So if n e thing, some of them, drink water, and some i don't know what the do!
People who find it mean to eat meat as it is a living creature just like us
but also find it cruel to eat vedgetables as they are also living
and they think fruit is just yucky.
so all they eat is their own breath
unfortunately they don't have a high life expectancy!
Sounds like someone living only on air. I never heard of it before though.
Breatharianism believers claim food and possibly water are not necessary, and that humans can be sustained solely by prana (the vital life force in Hinduism), or according to some, by the energy in sunlight. The terms breatharianism or inedia may also refer to this philosophy practiced as a lifestyle in place of the usual diet. While it is often seen as an esoteric practice performed by eastern ascetics, recently some groups such as the Breatharian Institute of America [1] have promoted the practice as an option for anybody, once the proper techniques for accessing it are made known.
Current scientific theories about nutrition and generally accepted common sense both indicate that a person who follows this practice in the long term would die of starvation or dehydration. Breatharians have seldom submitted themselves to medical testing and currently there is no evidence to support their claims.
someone who doesn't eat, and lives off of air.
If it does exist, it is not a type of vegetarian at all. A vegetarian avoids meat and by products of slaughtered animals....nothing to do with breathing.
Sounds like one who practices meditation based on watching his or her breath. Its a form of yoga. Chinese call it QIgong. It calms the mind and improves blood circulation.
probably an alien who finds it cruel to eat meat and even veggies.. maybe even a changeling
don't really know! Maybe a Yogi!
