Is red lentils high biological or low biological protein?!

Question:

Is red lentils high biological or low biological protein?

Answers:
It's high value protein! Here's a link to NutritionData that gives easily understood charts. They give lentils a score of 86, look at beef products and they average only 10 points higher! You might also like to look at the charts for soybean products.

What is a biological protein?

If I understand the terms properly, low.

There's no such thing, just as there is no such thing as an "incomplete" protein.

Every food that is grown has all of the essential amino acids, but not in the amounts that are necessarily needed for health. Essential amino acids are the building blocks of protein.
