If pen ink was made out of octopus or squid ink, could vegetarians write?!

Question:

If pen ink was made out of octopus or squid ink, could vegetarians write?

Answers:
Vegetarians could...

Vegans would not.

Vegetarianism is mostly diet... Veganism is a lifestyle in which all aspects of daily living are cruelty free.

They'd probably use their own blood instead....women's period blood since it's "all natural & gluten free"

Yes, but only under water.

yes they just wouldnt be able to lick the paper...

Are they going to write something on their tongues?

Hahaha...you get a star. Great question. Yes, vegetarians would, because that would be considered a byproduct. Veggans on the other hand could not because they don't eat (or use I think) animal products or byproducts.

Speaking as a vegetarian, yes, we could. Vegans, however, commit to a lifestyle of consuming nothing from animals, so they probably would choose something else to write with.

Oh yeah..

They'd use pencils :)

I could use crayons, but they are made from petroleum. I vote pencil. How would one "harvest" this ink? Do we milk them like cows? Are they kept in concrete farming areas in their filth? Are they killed and fed to the other squid and octupus when their ink output drops below profitability? Maybe we could install a holding pen in my printer and squeeze the little blighters making an "ink jet."

i sure wouldnt
