I think that vegetarianism is a very healthy diet. For 1 reason, you don't consume as much fat and oils that belong to other living things. It is scientifically proven that most vegetarians live healthier lifestyles than non-vegetarians I also believe that it is wrong to eat meat for 1 basic fact that you are murdering. As bad as that sounds, everyone that eats meat is a murderer, and i don't mean that disrespectfully at all. As funny as it sound, when a butcher kills a cow or pig...you have to realize that he/she is killing another animal's sister, brother, mother, father, cousin, aunt, etc...Plus I know you must have heard this many times...but how would you feel if someone was killing you that brutally so they can keep their tummies full? Makes you think doesn't it?

I have been a vegetarian all my life...but some of my friends are thinking of being a veg too so this is what i tell them...if ever you feel like eating meat..then carry a photo or sticker from PETA...that says fish are friends not food or something...if you want them...check out PETA2.com and order them. Just looking at a sticker or an animal in pain will drive away your craving! I know that it is a big step to take...but now a days there is "fake meat". It is actually tofu made by the Bhuddist monks of Nepal (i think). It tastes just like meat and you can eat it with a guilt-free conscience. If you want to purchase that..then go on PETA2.com and you can order the food. Or for the week you can ask your friends to be vegetarians with you...that way you can have fun and it won't be too hard.

no no no no do not become a vegetarian god put us over animals so we would have food to eat do not become a vegetarian because real hamburgers is better then those veggie burgers

You could become apart time vegetarian. If you feel badly for the animals you could deny the food, but sometimes if you want to eat it...eat it. No one can stop you. Only yourself. Eat what you feel what is right to.

i am thinking about becoming a vegitarian myself. But it really isnt that healthy to not eat meat. Dont stop eating meat, just dont eat that much of it. Like dont ever again pig out on chicken wings. Just a few and then find something else to eat.

if you love meat why would you want to change and why would you want to do it now after all these times. just because your friend does not eat meat does not mean you don't have to. may be you should choose who you want to be friends with. me personalty i love to eat meat it was how i was brough up in my family. and to eat vegan it just grosses me out. i tried vegan foods and it was gross. you need to decide for yourself ,but if you want to try it out for a couple days experiment and see how you like it. you can always go back to eating meat.

well you can be a veg. sometimes like not eat meat every day and only eat if you have to eat it.

I encourage you to explore the vegetarian lifestyle. Just try it and see if it is right for you. I am a very new vegetarian. I have only been following this lifestyle for a couple of months and I have had a good experience so far. In my opinion, you can be healthy or unhealthy being either a vegetarian or a meat eater. It just depends on what you choose to eat regardless of what diet you follow. Some people will tell you that you can't get enough protein on a vegetarian diet. That is just not true. I am a senior in college studying nutrition and I wouldn't be following this diet if numerous studies had not shown it to be healthy. You can be incredibly healthy and I actually feel better since becoming a vegetarian. I switched to a vegetarian diet after years of twinges of guilt while eating meat. I feel like a much better person now. Good luck with your choice!

Well it depends on how old you are if you are 14 years old I suggest for you not to be a vegaterian because your body is still in need of the protein of the meat. But if you are 17 years old and you really feel bad for the animals then I suggest you to be a vegaterian.

Praise God. That is one of the best decisions that anyone can possibly make for their overall health and prosperity. Regardless what man may say, flesh foods take much longer to digest, putting a heavier burden on the body, thus taxing much more energy and applying toxins to the body. Flesh foods also increase acidity in the blood, greatly, which paves way for cancer to take over and other illnesses as well. A non-flesh diet is what our Creator had in store for us to begin with (read Gen 1 and 2), only did meats come when the flood did, for you cannot have a garden in a flood (read Gen 9). Flesh foods are very diseased now, including fish and chicken, and is the diet that will best suit anyone who is conscientious about maintaining and taking the best care of the bodies that God has given to them.

You can if you want, i mean vegetables are good for you.
You ate and killed a lot of animals so it doesnt change what you are, animal killer.

You should try it! You'll be healthier and slimmer. I feel lighter and more clean inside since becoming vegetarian.

Congratulations! Be a vegetarian! Not only you will feel the difference, you will make a difference. Thanks!

Your question is quite contradicting. "I can't fo near meat. But I have ate it" Really doesn't make sense.

It is wrong to eat meat...it is murder.

The meat industry has done an extraordinary job in brainwashing people to believe we need so much protein in our body. I am amazed that some people still believe this. Most americans have TOO MUCH PROTEIN in their diet. Vegetarians DO NOT have a defeciency in protein either. Another line of bullcrap originating from the greedy meat industry.
It is completely healthy to be vegetarian at any age! Vegetarians, over all, are healthier than meat eaters.

If you love eating meat. While I cannot understand why eating a dead animal (dead for quite a while too before it reaches your plate) is enjoyable to anyone. But if you must eat meat...know your meat! Buy locally and buy organic.

Most importantly, educate yourself! There are tons of books available by qualified people.

No. Not recommended.

That is propaganda you are watching. I did once become a vegetarian for a couple of weeks to try it, and it was very easy. Vegetarianism does have good health benefits.
