This was the statement about Sanjaya. So what do you think he follows in that vegeterian diet.

Sanjaya is Indian, most likely, he is following a diet without meat - vegetarian. He can consume eggs though and yogurt, but all sort of meat is not allowed. This diet is followed by a great number of Buddhists.
