Can I still kill pests if I join PETA?!

Question:

Can I still kill pests if I join PETA?

A pest is defined as any living being that is bothersome to me. I live by a dairy farm and in the summertime the smell of the pigs and cows is terrible and sometimes they break out and run all over the yard during mating season. The dear and rabbits are ruining my garden and pooping all over the grass.

Most people consider carpenter ants, termites, wasps, mice and rats as main pests. However there are furry pests as well raccoons, deer, moles, cats, dogs and cows.

I asked the farmer but he and his ancestors were there first, so its a lost cause.

www.petakillsanimals.com should help explain this! this is gonna piss of a lot of vegetarians! lets see how many thumbs down i get!!!!

You probably can, as long as they arent the cute and fuzzy kinds of pests. The other pests you are not allowed to kill are PETA members themselves.

you can not go around kill cats, dogs, deers!!
thats horrible or racoons or moles!
and definately not cows!
is there something wrong with you?

did you consider not joining PETA. seems like you will have less problems

You have to do what you are comfortable with. PETA is not a cult, but an organization that believes in helping animals. Some members of PETA believe in living Vegan and compassion free (Me) and others go more right wing, but still support the cause on some level.

PETA is for the ethical treatment of animals - they are not against the justifiable killing of animals. They are against un-natural or over-natural killing of animals.

It's not the dear and the rabbits fault that urban sprawl has forced us to move into their territory. In Detroit for example, homes are unoccupied, there is plenty of land, but people just want the NEW and ATTRACTIVE 3000 square foor home that they can barely afford! I do not blame people for wanting to move out of Detroit. It's the poorest city in the U.S., yet the taxes are ungodly high. Not to mention the fact that people are moving out because of implicit racist fear.

So, at least in Detroit, rabbits and dear are being killed because people are racist, cheap, and materialistic.

PETA does not want you to not kill animals, they want you to think about why you want to kill them. I know this...and I'm an omnivore!

Yes, and you can eat meat too... just make sure it's happy when you murder it.

PETA is not against meat.

And it doesn't matter if the guy has owned the land since the beginning of time... they still have to be responsible citizens. If it's stinking up the town, the town has a lot of resources at its disposal to fix the problem. Including... running them out of town... I've seen this happen. You don't have to put up with it simply because they were there first. Complain to the city... you will probably find that the whole area is pissed about it, but everybody's afraid to say anything.

ask PETA

It is horrible to kill any kind of animal. If they annoy you that much than put up a nice strong fence.

P.S. I'm a vegetarian but i don't support Peta, they're a little extreme.

you can but no other PETA members will have respect for you

im not even a vegan and i cant count the amount of times i have watched mosquitos suck blood out of my arm
