I want to buy a juicer - which is the best for my needs?!

Question:

I want to buy a juicer - which is the best for my needs?

Okay - I want to juice green vegetables, leafy veggies like spinach, parsley, lettuce, and the like, carrots, beets, celery, etc. I also would like it to be able to juice wheatgrass well.

One of the most important things to me is ease of cleaning. I would like one that I can use each morning, juice a bunch of veggies and wheatgrass and clean it in the sink very quickly. If it's too much of a pain in the @ss I won't use it, or I'll leave it one day and ruin the juicer....

Any suggestions?

V-8 is not the same as real veggie juice. V-8 is mostly tomato juice and has about 1,000,000 grams of salt in it. V-8 splash is full of sugar. It's not good for you.

I buy a lot of juices out -- carrot-celery-beet -- and spinach, cucumber, parsley, celery -- that kind of stuff. They get pricey, though -- like $4.00 and $5 each, and wheatgrass is $2 or more a shot.

V-8 is no substiute for that stuff, which is actualyl healthy.

Vitamax and Champion juicers are the current industry leaders, and I believe it is easy to make wheatgrass juice with the Champion juicer.
Another great one is the Oscar juicer from Vitality 4 Life. They are an Australian company and I am not sure how far they ship, but you can learn about juicers from their website:

I live in Taiwan, and I am going to order one from them. I actually met the owner of the company at a wellness-spa in Bali. He is a real down-to-earth guy. But, his vitality is a testment to the power of fresh juice!
And, nice comment on the V-8. I am sure you know all about living enzymes, and you know anything mass-produced, and canned, is probably not going to meet your needs.

Skip the juicer and buy V8 or V8 splash....after 2 months your juicer will sit and be collecting dust.....but if you must get one dont get the Jack Lalane one it sucks and its big and bulky....maybe that bullet one i heard its pretty good its small and easy to rinse off....but you cant but wheatgrass in a normal juicer you have to buy one that strips the juices from the grass not grinds it up they run about $50-300

I read on the internet that the OMEGA juicer is the best. But if you want a veggie or fruit drink that keeps all the vitamins and nutrients in each drink, go and definitely invest in a VITAMIX. You will not regret it, for this is the best machine you will put your money into. You can google it, if you want to know more.

I love my Magic bullet but I find it is only good for juicing citrus--I had a rough time with apples and forget about carrots. My doc swears by the Jack LaLane one and I checked out the Vitamix website and it seems very expensive. Good Luck--if you find a good one, please share the name--I'm looking for one as well.
