no acctually they life a more healthy life and are proven to live about 3 years older.
but take protien pills
vegetarians live longer, healthier lives - from what I have heard... another way to look at it - vegetarians are usually thinner - ever notice that there are not many people over 60 who are obese? this is because their weight leads to health problems, and they die younger than those who have their weight under control..
experiments on mice show that cutting food intake down by 1/3 made them live longer...
Make sure you get enough iron... think of supplementing?
Thats not true. In fact I think you stay healthier if you are a vegetarian and live longer.
no it's not true
No. Vegeterians tend to have better diets than non-vegiterians, it has nothing to do with the fact that you don't eat meat, or do. I'm not sure about vegans, but I think it's the same thing. (sorry I can't spell)
they usually live longer
I've heard of a lot of healthy societies eating a diet high in fruits, veggies, grains, and rarely have health problems. The diets are not free of meat completely, but they eat small amounts (and it was usually fish... if they had access to it). I've found my body only needs about 25-30g of protien a day, and I easily get 6g from my gluten-free toast in the mornings. Vegetables have more protien than people realize. As far as cow's milk products go... they're not good for you anyways. Depletes your body of calcium. The countries with the highest dairy consumption have the highest rates of osteoperosis.
No, vegetarians do live longer than meat eaters because meat can effect you diet much more
Meat eaters have a higher rate of heart disease...the number one killer.
you are a meat eater trying to pretend you are vegetarian
i have only heard the opposite, actually, because eating meat raises your risk of heart disease, cancer (if red meat), and strokes, among other things. veggies and vegans live an average of 6-10 years longer than meat eaters.
No. It's not true. A little research would, in fact, show otherwise. Why don't you try looking it up?
