Brocolli is bad for you.. Agree?!
Brocolli is bad for you.. Agree?
Do you still agree after reading Blindguru.com on the interesting article page?
Answers:
I did read the article, and it sounds like complete bullpucky. There are no references for the information (misinformation would be a better word). And the people I know with distended bellies rarely eat a green leafy vegetable, but gorge themselves on meat and fried fatty foods, so the description of green leafy vegetables causing distended bellies in humans is ridiculous. Also, on another part of the site, the "guru" says "I also get brocolli stems free. These are the one of the most nutrient rich vegetables you can eat." The info for the most part on the whole site seemed fishy to me.
No I don't...
Have not read it, but I would trust broccoli with my life!
i havent read it............
i like brocolli and cheese
lol
Nope, Broccoli's one of my favourite veggies.
Only if you are allergic to it would it be bad for you.
I didn't read it, But I say anything that taste bad can't be good for you lol
I can't find this article. I'm looking at the page. Please link it?
Broccoli is high in anti-oxidants... which is good for you.
what? No way!
No I don't agree! I didn't read Blindguru.com
Broccoli is high in Anti-oxidants and those that eat it seldom have colds or flus. I find if I don't eat broccoli or spinach at least once a week then I will come down with the cold or flu!
I only don't eat it when it's too pricey! Don't believe every article you read... anyone saying Broccoli to be bad just doesn't know! Broccoli tastes good to me! I don't see why some people say it tastes bad! Maybe they just had a taste of over pesticided Broccoli so they think it all tastes bad!
Just cause something tastes bad doesn't mean it's bad for you! Buckleys Cough Mixture is yeak but good for you. Yarrow tea is just as bad tasting but good for you! I like the taste of broccoli especially Blue Italian Siciliano broccoli.. but that type doesn't keep well in stores.. it spoils quickly..
What's in stores is usually Long Keeper.. it lacks taste! It still has all the anti-oxidants one needs however!
Blindguru.com looks to me like a little bit of crap. It is difficult to take seriously with the constant putting down of its own credibility and its spelling errors. If I'm to believe information put forward about better ways to eat, which I'm quite open to and actively look for, then the argument has to be well written and back itself up with some credible points and science, if possible.
Now about the broccoli, I'm not sure that the supermarket ones that last 3 weeks in the fridge are good for you, but the ones I harvested from my vege garden in the last few days certainly are.
no i dnt it's bull crap
it is good for you as long as it is firm and not wrinkled or soft, should not look dull, should not look bruised. brocolli contains vitamin c. vitamin c helps cuts and wounds to heal and healps our body absorb iron. without vitamin c, you might contract diseases like scurvy, charcterised by swollen gums, loose teeth and bleeding of gums.
like your mother said,'' eat brocolli, its good for you.''
i didn't read yet the blindguru.com i didn't eat brocolli oh... brocolli is a veggies right i think.. brocolli is good for you
I did read it, and I have no idea what you are talking about. The website isn't organized very well and doesn't have anything to back up the claims that it's making. It is pseudo-science at best and downright charlatan at worst.
nope
