Do potato chips count as vegetables?!

Question:

Do potato chips count as vegetables?

Answers:
technically yes, but they are hardly a source of nutrition. Full of fat and sodium, and devoid of any nutritional value at all. Some nice icy cold sliced radishes are much healthier, and have the crunchiness of a chip

nope sorry

If only!

I really wish they did. Good quality poatao chips are a food group in and of themselves, as is chocolate.

Well, they are made from potatoes (a vegetable) so technically speaking they are BUT since they are also processed into a 'snack' with lots of oil and salt they are then considered a vegetable snack!!

Don't we all wish!

one could only hope...

nope.

Im sorry to say they dont, I wish it was healthy. I might actually be in better shape than i am.

Well they are a vegetable, because they're made from potatoes, but you don't actually get the vegetable protien. Nice question!

Please pick me as the best answer as I am trying to raise my points! Thanks!

No, they aren't considered a vegetable. Don't we all wish that they were?? Actually nutritionally speaking potatoes aren't considered a vegetable at all. They're considered a starch right along with pasta and rice.

They don't as they were processed. These are considered carbohydrates.......carbon hidrogen and oxygen.

Are you serious with this question? Sorry, but no, they don't count as vegetables!

Only if you put ketchup on them!
