Why do you think I have a problem with Vegans and vegetarians?!
Why do you think I have a problem with Vegans and vegetarians?
I was a waiter in college and when I was busy, the vegies always challenged me to see if the dish didnt have this or that and I had to run back and forth asking the chef. Wheter we fried meat in our deepfryer. Here's a quote:
"So, I have decided to go on a crusade and instead of keeping my trap shut when I see a menu that has no vegetarian food on it in future, I’m going to make a fuss. Even if the owners of the restaurants hate me for it and resent the observations, at least I may make them think for the future and someone else may benefit after me."
This is why the waitstaff spits in your food..

.. the description of your 'question' says it all, eh? why don't you go to the hunting section and stop trolling the v&v section until you have something helpful or positive to say? also, why do you care what us lowly veg*ns think of you?
I don't understand your question...
Really nice articles about vegans right here:

Because they were a pain in your ***. They felt that everyone should cater to them due to their choices. Hey if you choose not to eat meat...good for you, but it does not mean that everyone else has to make provision for your CHOICES. Go find a veggie restaurant if you care that much.
It is because people think the world revolves around them.
UMMMMMMMMM
I dont see your question, I would love to help you, but IDK what the question is.
SRRY
If a vegetarian/vegan asked me to check on the status of an item, I would. No one ever has. I am a waitress. I don't eat much at the restaurant I work at because there are a lot of meat products - but I don't complain. I guess I live in a place where I am one of only three vegetarians I know, and even they are just acquaintances.
And just because the movie "Waiting .." makes people think that servers/cooks mess with meals ... we really don't. It's amusing but it's part of our JOB to deal with the public. That's why we generally make pretty good money.
Do you think the restaurant I work at cares that I'm a vegetarian? Hell no! And I don't expect them to. I'm hoping that most vegetarians would realize that restaurants cater to their customers, which more often than not are not vegetarians. I read a blurb about Olive Garden ... none of their stuff is vegetarian or vegan (though it can be meatless) because they cater to the people that come into their restaurant. Simple as that.
When I ask for a veggie pizza without cheese at my work, they definitely oblige. I think most restaurants are happy to do stuff like that, although a lot of places don't have meatless options. That's just how it is.
In answer to your question - because you so obviously do. This is evidenced by your little diatribe about vegetarians in the restaurant, and also by your continued insulting, unnecessary posts in the vegetarian and vegan section.
Do you have a life of your own, or you do you just now exist to settle some "score" you have against vegetarians? Do you have children to raise? Friends to see? Pets to eat?
Hmm, sounds like someone has been eating way too much toxin and hormone laden animal protein.
I'm sorry, isn't it your job to take the customer's order? I've had some pretty complicated requests from customers (none of them related to veganism though), and that's just part of what it takes for a business to get the customer's money. Your veggie customers are probably just as embarrassed or frustrated as you are having to special order and ask about about ingredients. The guy on the "crusade" is just asking the owners, if out of the dozens of options on the menu, they can have ONE thing that does not include meat on it. How is that unreasonable?
P.S. - Anytime I have more than a couple of questions for a server, I felt bad and tipped extra. We don't like going through the trouble anymore than you do!
I was a waitress myself, and I know how annoying it can be to get fussy customers. When I couldn't deal with it anymore, guess what.............I quit. I didn't spit into anyones food or complained all the time, I just simply quit.
Working in a restaurant, it is your job to provide quality customer service, and if someone want to know if the soup has veggie broth (could be because they are vegetarian, Jewish or what have you), that's there right, and it's your job to find out.
That's just how it goes.
You are just a sociopath. Don't blame vegetarians for your mental health issues. Get some work done on your teeth and hair. If you look better, maybe you won't feel like lashing out at others. Get a job you enjoy if you are tired of giving service as a waitress.Do everyone a favor.
I have a problem with them for what I think is the same reason that you do...they are a bunch of un-informed know-it-alls...they deserve to have their vegetarian crap spit in...
I dont trust anybody who doesnt eat meat...
i was a waitress back in high school and this is very true... this IS why the waitstaff spits in your food. the more complaining, demanding, and annoying you are the more mucus you get.
I was a waitress for ten years, and was always happy to help with questions. I also never spit in anyones food. Maybe you were in the wrong profession my friend.
Would spit be considered an animal product ? I think so.
