Man, that's a loaded question. There are a ton of benefits. I put my son through chef school and after working in restaurants for awhile, he turned to raw foods and makes dishes for families now; and they're now filming him for a TV cooking show.

Anyway - benefits.... It cleans the toxins from your system. I've seen people that are overweight use the system, and they come down to their natural size. I've seen underweight people come up to their natural size.

They have been experimenting with the diet with people having drug addictions with some great results. Drug addicts tend to try and self medicate in order to feel better, to correct a chemical imbalance of the brain. On a raw foods diet, your system looses the craving for the drugs.

Some people can't stand the thought.... it's harder than a Vegan diet. But, recently the menus have gotten a lot more creative.

Much better nutrition, and some tastes better.

When you put food in the microwave or cook anything at extremely high heat you lose all of the natural enzymes and a lot of the nutritional value that was once in something raw-when cooked-is non-existant. Raw food is untouched therefore all of the natural enzymes are still intact. It is also free of hormones, pesticides and antibiotics. It's purely what it is.

Raw food is also good for your digestive system, if I am not mistaken.
