Can lacto-vegetarians eat triffle because there is custard in it??!

Question:

Can lacto-vegetarians eat triffle because there is custard in it??

Answers:
Lacto-vegetarians can eat some sort of trifle as it usually contains custard which is usually made using cow milk. Some trifle has custard made from eggs. If you eat eggs that would be OK... then you would be a lacto-ovo vegetarian.

Some trifle has jello in - and that is not OK for any vegetarian to eat as jello uses gelatine which comes from dead animal cartilege etc.

Just make sure you check what is in the trifle before you eat it!

No, because Captain Kirk had lots of trouble with triffles and they are not good eatin'.

Custard can have egg in it. Lacto-ovo vegetarians can have it. If triffle has cake (I can't remember if it does or not), then the cake most likely has egg anyways...
